The life of a great man has ended. We think of him with thankfulness for the example he was for the world. He was capable to forgive those who humiliated him . Our thoughts are with his family and the nation of South Africa.

An amazing man, no doubt about that. The world is a better place thanks to his ability to forgive, and to keep his mind active in order to accomplish great things when he was released from prison. We could all learn much from following his example, and some of us might accomplish much, too. Love, K

Well said Wil. I have read so much about him - one of the things which has stayed with me is that he had numerous faults, which he acknowledged. We are none of us perfect - but this man preached of forgiveness and that supersedes any weaknesses. A great man indeed.

I hope the country can hold together even with him gone. He was a great man.
