Shalom Wil. Looks familiar.
I agree with Roger, I love the Bible character paintings, too! What a lovely place, Wil! A great post for the F Day! Hope your week is going well!
Quel superbe lieu de culte ! L'idéal, pour prier et méditer.
As usual Wil, I find your images so very restful.
i hope to see these for myself someday. lovely captures.
F is for...
This is so cool. Is that Dina in that photo? :-)
Great photos and cool looking friary. I love the multiple languages in the art (French and Hebrew?).
Is that Elijah getting sent some manna by a raven? I'm trying to remember Bible characters (or my son's illustrated Bible storybooks) The wooden bench and the warm spring are very interesting to me.
I somehow missed your E post last week and have just caught up with it. So interesting about Elijah, his chair and circumcision. I had never heard that before.
Beautiful photo/paintings for F.
Fascinating Wil!

In the town I lived they used to have a fracciscanen closter and in the morning we walked up to school with a pater who was a franciscaan who walked his dogs in the morning.
