Weekend Reflections: Hineh mah tov...How good is it...

Dina sent me an e-mail about the Hebrew words "Hine mah tov..."Of course I looked it up and the meaning of these words are great and wonderful! The past two days were all dedicated to the Chili miners. The whole world was watching, many people were praying and everybody was hoping and now we are all singing and many of us are praising the Lord of all life. Thank you for this link Dina!

Hineh Mah Tov Umah Naim, Shevet Achim Gam Yahad.....
Psalm 133

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity...

Wonderful post as always and so perfect for the day! I couldn't agree with you more! Just wish we could all come together in peace, love and acceptance of one another regardless of the differences! Thank you for this today, Wil! Enjoy your weekend.

Very nice! We can all praise God for the rescue of all these men. Perhaps their plight will make things better for those working in the mines world wide.

This whole ordeal has highlighted the very best of human nature.
Now if we could only do this on a daily basis. We are capable, lets try.

A miracle that they came all out alive. Beautiful song. I learned a song in hebrew (jurasalem) when I was young. Nice language

It's a event that kept the whole world watching. I like the one from the man who said," I never prayed, now I do."

This is a really unusual and touching rendition of the song, Wil. Good choice.

Hi There, What a great post!!!! YES--we were all watching the Chili miners --and their rescue.... Psalm 133 is one of my fav's... We all do yearn for UNITY and respect and love, don't we?

Reflecting back on the miners rescue----it took so many people working together to make that happen. Wish the whole world would reach out and help one another in times of need... That's what life is all about.

Great post.
Hugs,
Betsy

I can still hardly believe they all got out safely. The part I liked best was the whole world united in wishing them safety and love.

Your header photos are always so striking, Wil!
