How amazing to see the resilence of beautiful plants like these. I live in such a different climate than you and today I've shared the last roses from my yard this week at Happily Retired Gal and Sacred Ruminations, especially for all those folks who are currently snowbound. I'll be cutting those bushes back in the next week or two so I'll have no NEW roses to share until Spring time.
Hugs and blessings,
~HAPPY NEW YEAR~ Just wanted to remind you the Happy New Year offer ends Mon. Jan. 5th at noon for the free 8x10 print. Spread the word for people to post and e-mail David Bowman by then :) Have a beautiful Sunday! ♥ Hugs! Shauna

Hi, Nice pics - what camera do you have?
You have an interesting background! - let's compare notes: I was born in Soerabaja, on the East coast of Java in 1949 - my parents were in the Japanese camp -I was 5 when we went to Holland - lived there till I got married. then lived for a year in Berlin, 4 years in the US, back to Holl. for 9 years, and since 1985 have lived in the US.
Your grandkids skating on the canal brings back memories!!
