Camera Critters, The Technical Turkey.

Posted by Picasa

My Australian daughter is a car mechanic and quite a technician. One of her turkeys is also very interested in motors and engines and doesn't trust this machine very much. She wants to take a closer look and find out what exactly is wrong with the thing.

The turkey felt very lonely last year, for she was the only one. She walked behind us all the time and when we left by car she joined the dogs running behind the car and trying to bark like them. Now she has a mate and there is another female who had chicks this summer.

Camera Critters is hosted by Misty Dawn. Thank you so much Misty Dawn.If you want to see more Camera Critters click on the logo in the side bar.

Hello Wil,

That is some cute turkey. I never thought I would ever say a turkey is cute, but he/she is. Even turkeys have an inquiring mind. ;)

Great turkey photo. looks like your daughter has a helper. Thanks for the visit. On My cat it is the Manx part in him that makes him like water. No other cat but him has ever been like this. Have a great week.

Such a nice story about the technical turkey and daughter.
Sorry Wil, I have a lot of catching up to do on your blog, and even missed your birthday.
Happy unbirthday now and merry Christmas soon. On Dec. 25 at 06:00 I start flying, arriving only on Saturday morning. Why do our daughters move SO far...?

Love how you fought and won with the camel driver!

I did not realise how independent turkeys could be until I stayed on a farm a few years back. The big male turkey vetted everyone who wanted to pass! It was so funny to watch.
Great photos - have a good weekend.
