ABC Wednesday, W for Warning

When we were in Cairns  we were staying in a unit not far from the airport, which I always fly from when I go home. My daughter and one or two of her children stay with me until I have to say goodbye to them, which is the most difficult part of the holiday.

It is important to know that plants can be very dangerous, so we had to read these signs very carefully.

Travelling by car means watching carefully the traffic signs. Cattle owners leave their cattle walk freely in the bush. Consequently they cross the road where and whenever they want.

With thanks to Denise Nesbitt, who created ABC.For more interesting ABC posts click on the logo in the sidebar . This week we are looking for words beginning with W

Wonderful words! Would the Stinging tree wave its branches like the one in Harry Potter;s school?

We occasionally have the wandering livestock but no stinging trees, thank goodness. We do have stinging nettles.

I can't help but think of the boy at Disney World rown by an alligator. A warning about swimming, but NO warning about gators.

WONDERFUL use of W by our very WONDERFUL WIL !
Australia sure is an amazing continent but
such a dangerous place to live in or visit.
I guess it's ok if you have instruction
of do's or dont's, as in the warning of
stinging trees, something I have never heard
of before...That's the joy of ABCW...
I pray it never ends...??
Best wishes,
Di.

I had never heard of stinging tree before. Here in Georgia we have to be careful with ticks. I had not seen one that attached itself to my stomach and it was painful for a couple of weeks.
