Osias Loúkas was born in Aegina in 906 AD.
When he died in 953 the first monastery cells and the first small church were already built.
In 1011 this late-Byzantine church was finished.

In Borneo, the Dutch priest and bros set up schools. When I was young,we could not pronounce our priest name. we called him Fr Volcanar, I think you will know the spelling.
