Our World Tuesday, ABC Wednesday, D for Daffodils.

These photos were taken in March 2007.

Welcome to Our World Tuesday! This meme continues in memory of the work of Klaus Peter, whose "that's My World" brought people together from around the world every Monday to share the wonders therein--big and small. Please click on our  logo for "Our World Tuesday" in the sidebar. Thank you Team of O. W. T.!

With thanks to Denise Nesbitt, who created ABC, and thanks to Roger. For more interesting ABC posts click on the logo in the sidebar. This week we are looking for words beginning with D.

Here's a video for the non- native speakers, like myself, easy to understand.

Oh Wil, I love everything about this beautiful post. We can't grow early Spring flowers in Florida (it is too hot). I miss them.

All your daffodils are beautiful, but that one with the pink center takes my breath away. Just lovely every one.

nothing prettier than a 'host of golden daffodils' Wil, pretty pictures most cheering on a very cold day. I'm longing for spring now.

I think I have a weakness for that bright cheerful yellow. Always makes me happy to look at your flowers.

Lovely photographs of Daffodils.Though we had a garden around our home we had more fruits than flowers and I was responsible for the watering always as I hated to put my hands in the mud.

The mango photo? That's a sprinkling of salt. We are used to do it especially if they are not very ripe. When they are ripe, we don't add the salt.

for my ABC Wed, I usually go on my first blog http://annkschin.blogspot.co.nz/.

It doesn't matter which blog you visit.

Narcissen zijn altijd mooi he..... ook al zijn ze al weer langere tijd ruim te koop ....het idee van 'voorjaarsbloem' gaat er zo wel af, vind je ook niet.

One of my favourite flowers. Yellow is such a bright colour in early spring. When I get back home next week after a short vacation I hope to see mine poking up. - Margy

What a beautiful assortment of daffodils, Wil, I look forward to them popping up here in a few months once all this snow melts away.

By the way, I meant to comment on your response to my post B is for Bees (I'm behind! :-) ) that its really a function of not using insecticides and pesticides that will make the most difference. Plus its a government-sponsored problem, since many of Monsanto's chief executives have government positions in the US. As always, it comes down to power and money. But we are all going to suffer because of it.

These make me happy when they creep up in my snow.
