Our World Tuesday, ABC Wednesday, C, for Crocuses

Crocuses are a sign that spring is in the air! This is my contribution for both "Our World Tuesday"en "ABC Wednesday".

Welcome to Our World Tuesday! This meme continues in memory of the work of Klaus Peter, whose "that's My World" brought people together from around the world every Monday to share the wonders therein--big and small. Please click on our  logo for "Our World Tuesday" in the sidebar. Thank you Team of O. W. T.!

With thanks to Denise Nesbitt, who created ABC, and thanks to Roger. For more interesting ABC posts click on the logo in the sidebar. This week we are looking for words beginning with C.

I love these flowers Wil -- and I miss them. There are no typical early-Spring flowers here in Florida beause it is too hot.

Thank you so much for sharing the joy and for bringing back beautiful memories of when we lived in cooler climates.

Beautiful flowers. I have the white and the pink variety in my little garden but not the yellow or the purple ones.
Happy ABCW!

Beautiful pretty little flowers. I have a host of them in my front garden, as soon as they pop their little heads up I shall post a picture of them.
Thanks for brightening up a horrid day here Wil, the sky is leaden with grey clouds and sleety rain is battering the windows.
Snow is forecast later, Grrrr !
Roll on Spring and lots of pretty crocus.
best wishes,
Di.

I love crocuses. Aside from their cheery colors popping through the grey winter, they are harbingers of the coming spring. They always make me smile.

Golden Crocuses are truly golden!! Most bulbs we plant here are eaten by the rabbits, so we have to put them in pots and watch over them carefully.

Wil, a lovely tribute. We are in the dead of winter here in the Midwest US, and I can only dream of the day when those little guys start poking their heads up! Amy

are these flowers out already?

It is very hot here 30 degrees. Your daughter in Australia must be feeling even hotter.

They always make me happy, and because their appearance means spring is approaching, what a lovely hopeful thing to post for C. I think everyone in the Northern hemisphere is anxious for spring!

Wow! You're getting crocuses in January? We didn't get them until the end of March into April in Chicago. These photos are beautiful, Wil.
