Sky Watch in Queensland, Australia,

Posted by Picasa

My daughter took these photos a few days ago, when she stayed in Gympie with the parents of her partner. They are now on their way back to Cooktown in North Queensland, where they live.

Sky Watch is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia
Thank you so much for this great meme, it's always a pleasure to participate, and see all the other skies around the world. If you want to see some other skies please click on the logo in the side bar.

Oi, so sad what is happening there.
May all go well with your daughter.

Obviously Queensland is still in a dangerous position.

«Louis'» Sky Watch image was actually taken last August. It rained all day and San Francisco Bay was almost completely obscured by low-hanging clouds all day. Thus, «Louis» went on an archive dive for this image...
;-D

«Louis» is pleased to read that your family in Australia is still safe.

What can one say.....
You have your share of long-distance worry at the moment.

Het voelt hier in Nederland opeens een beetje dom om te klagen over de regen...Veel sterkte nog gewenst!

I sure hope it is safe for her now.
It is just appalling what is happening in Queensland.

Oh, Wil, this is indeed so sad! I do hope all is well with your daughter and continue to improve! You do indeed have more than your share of long distance worries and those are never easy! I'll be holding good thoughts for you and your family!

We are as you know well acquainted with rain around here, but nothing approaching this. They/you have all my sympathy! I hope it all works out well.

I certainly hope the worst is over for Queensland. I'm glad your daughter is able to head back home.

Oh, my -- I hope it will soon pass -- though I know the clean up will take a long, long time.

So awful these floods - in Brazil too though not as large that's for sure but more lives taken. And over here most of the United States was colder than Canada last week!! The weather is definitely challenging.

Dear Wil, I saw a video yesterday about what these floods can do, so I hope your daughter would have a place to stay far enough away from the floods.

I am so very sad for our Aussie friends. I sure hope the weather dries up.
