that's My World, ABC Wednesday, Z for Zilla

Last year "Sea Life" was under the spell of Crab Zilla, a monstrous appearance in Sea
Life Scheveningen,in the Netherlands. On 3rd August, 2010 Crabzilla was to been seen here. It was the biggest living crab that was ever found in Europe.
The Japanese giant spider crab was caught the year before in the Pacific Ocean . The span of his claws is more than 3,5 meters. Crabzilla is 40 years old and weighs 15 kilos. His menu is simple: octopus, whiting and mussels.

Wow! THat was some amazing crab!
So glad I stopped by today to visit (via Weaver).
I think all old people would enjoy the computer if they got the hang of it.
A good way to keep one's mind lively.

It's a bit scary! But it could make a nice soup for ... a village.
Thank you again for the hospitality. You have a warm home like your heart.

It seems a waste and a shame to eat something as old and beautiful as that. I don't think the human race will ever appreciate life until we become cannibals. Then, maybe, we won't kill everything on the planet to eat it. Just kidding of course.

I immediately thought that crab under my body while I'm swimming in the sea!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrr...........

Janice Thomson said...

Wow - I may never wade into the ocean again if that's what's lurking there LOL.

Oh my gosh! That is HUUUUGE! Wow! I didn't think they could grow that big.

So, crabzilla no longer exists? Oh, I hope that is not so, or that it's fate was not at the hands of a human being...
Nonetheless, very fascinating!
