Miners

The rescue operation of the 33 miners, who were trapped 600 metres under ground in a mine in Chili! Sorry but I got it only in Dutch. The first four miners are up now and it will take a day before they all are rescued. The fittest men go first because they don't panick easily. And after being united with their families they go to hospital where they will be examined thoroughly

I was SO pleased to see on the news last night that they were bringing them out earlier than expected! What a horrendous experience for all concerned, but everyone worked so well together to rescue those poor men.

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week!

Wonderful, Weaver, but it will take a long time for them to recover.

It's all like a miracle.
Man's survival instinct.
God help them to ALL get up safely.
But imagine them having to go back to work down in a mine again. Oi

This is a good "M" and what a tribute to those miners. I find it amazing they have all survived and are finally able to come out. They and their families have a long haul ahead, recuperating from something like this ordeal. Have a good week.

Isn't the whole story just so inspiring Wil. I have been glued to the television and in tears for a lot of the time.

Hurrah for the miners and those who devised their rescue. May all of them come through this ordeal intact.

We've been watching the rescue operation for most of the day. I think there are only 10 miners left down there as I write this.
This is a wonderful -- and appropriate -- 'M' post.

I had first heard that they would have to stay there for several months...so this is wonderful news!
