Sky Watch Friday

Posted by Picasa

This is exactly what I saw last week Saturday.

Loosen your hands,
Let go and say good-bye.
Let the stars and songs go.
Let the faces and years go.
Loosen your hands and say good-bye.

Carl Sanburg

How beautiful, the pink and blue, with the silhouette of the trees adding drama! Wow!

Great skies you caught with your lens -high winds here today, so everything that's loose is rattling outside.
Can't keep up with your prolific blogging :) - just read the Australian song - yes, full of emotion. It's good to remember some things, but also good to forget some things.
cheers.

Re comments to B & W: I beg to differ - I see no reason to leave the use of b & W to Hitchcock and other purveyors of fear and darkness. There is too much beauty in all aspects of life. The patterns, shapes and contrasts that exist often drown in the blaze of colours. The simplification that B & W can bring might show it.

That is just one aspect.

hi Wil,
Great sky , do you know why the sky is red? Someone asked me on my blog, tobe honest I do not know for sure:)

Happy weekend happy skywatch

Me again: Thank you for "the comment on comment"! I have written this also on my own blog:

I think we are much closer in what we see in the use of B & W - the differences in approach, goal and what can be expressed, but also in what cannot be expressed.

Thank your for the praise, but I'm still at the bottom of the ladder! :-)

"DERISOIRE "signifie:
insignifiant, infime, négligeable, petit, minime, anodin, sans importance, banal, quotidien.
Cependant, il y a une certaine ironie dans l'emploi de ce mot:
These things, these fragments don't seem important, however, they are important.

Idon't know how to translate this meaning in English.

Lovely series of photos for SWF. I love your header photo, your three grandchildren are so cute and lovely. The cave behind them has some pictures, they must be left behind by ancient people. Very interesting.
