The Dutch Crown Prince Willem- Alexander, Princess Maxima, his wife, and the two elder princesses on their bikes. The youngest princess is in her baby-seat on the carrier of her mum's bike.

This is the kind of carrier cycle the prince is riding on.

A pity about the blazer jacket, they almost look normal.

Sweet! - And you got them biking around like that? Talk of normalcy!
Good one!
Cheers, Klaus

P.S.: While it's good to disallow anonymous comments, it will be difficult for those, who don't have a Blogger account to comment. Just a thought...

Oh, I need a bike like the Prince is riding. I'm not steady enough these days to handle a two-wheeler, but the other one would be perfect for local shopping; not only would it save gasoline, but give me much needed exercise, too.

Thanks Klaus, fortunately there are not many anonymous commenters on this blog. On my other blog (efx2) I had a few anonymous visitors but we could block them.

I wish they could teach a lesson or two on normality to the British Royal Family :)

How fine that you were able to catch the image of the family - royal or not - on the bikes. This is one of those images that brings a smile to one's face!

Your kind comment about "Louis's" beautiful bride was quite a large bouquet for them both! They very much appreciate it!

a. The British Royals had at least one normal person: Princess Diane And I think they are trying to open up and be less standoffish.
Your welcome Louis! I hope that you may be together for many happy years to come!

Very nice, I think I need a bike like that one, could ride to grocery and bring them home safely, and I doubt with three wheels I would be tipping over. LOL

You are right Patty: you won't tip over. These bikes were originally used by delivery boys, or before the war by the baker who went from door to door.

Yes just what one needs to get groceries with. I actually looked into them but they are so very expensive here.

What an unususl looking bicycle. Who says you can't save money by carrying your groceries on a bike instead of using up gas in your car.
