Every time when I cycle in the village I meet white swans. This one seems so lonely. Most swans who have found a partner stay with him or her for ever.
Lots more animals on display today from bloggers around the world at Camera Critters.

Cool Swan and a great reflection.
What could be better?

Wonderful photo! I love the composition and the reflection in the water.
What a beautiful bird, so majestic looking.
Perhaps his/her partner died and he/she hasn't found a new one. Nice photo.
Awwww the swan looks so lonely...but great photo!
The swan's reflection is awesome Wil - a delightful photo.
I love that reflection on the water! Nice shot.
A good capture! I also really liked your sky watch post. Excellent photos and good thoughts about protecting electrical equipment from damage.
gorgeous shot! love the reflection, nicely done.
thanks for visiting mine - have fun on your trip to australia, keep an eye out for our slithering friends ;)
They are so graceful in the water, love the reflection

Yes he seems very lonely, I like the reflection. Have a nice week.
Love the refection. SWans always great photos.
I think the swan is possibly the most pictured bird since photography became available vis the Kodak box camera. My own early efforts were of swans. They win webs down for photogenic.
This swan maybe lonely, but he/she is beautiful nonetheless.
Like the old song "Just me and my shadow..." Lovely white swan on dark water. But alone is not always lonely.
it is sad. cygnet love a beautiful thing. Maybe someone will come along..
Swans are so beautiful. This is a great photo. I love the reflection in the water.
Thanks so much for playing Camera-Critters. I look forward to seeing more of your critter photos each week.
Love the beauty of your swan!
Swan and reflection are beautiful! How nice to see the swans every time you go into the village - they would make my day. Thank you for stopping by earlier.
It is unusual to see a lone swan. Last autumn when we were out on the lake we saw one flying south alone, we figured it must have got lost as the other swans had probably left here for the south already.
Swans mate for life, so I hope he/she finds a mate, poor thing. Gorgeous bird.
Great Camera Critters share and thanks for visiting me!
Beautiful swan, it has its beautiful reflection for company. I liked your other snaps too very much.
What a beautiful swan !
I don't know Lesley Anne Ivory but I paint cats too, if you wish you can see them here atGattina's Paintings
I thank you all for the kind comments!
Thanks for your visit to my blog Brookville Daily Photo this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the honey bee and the hollyhock flower.
I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.
Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?
I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good showing the lovely white swan.
No, Wil, you can never bore me with your adjectives. LOL
Beautiful photos. We do not have any real windmills around where I live
