The white swan

Every time when I cycle in the village I meet white swans. This one seems so lonely. Most swans who have found a partner stay with him or her for ever.

Lots more animals on display today from bloggers around the world at Camera Critters.

A good capture! I also really liked your sky watch post. Excellent photos and good thoughts about protecting electrical equipment from damage.

I think the swan is possibly the most pictured bird since photography became available vis the Kodak box camera. My own early efforts were of swans. They win webs down for photogenic.

This swan maybe lonely, but he/she is beautiful nonetheless.

Like the old song "Just me and my shadow..." Lovely white swan on dark water. But alone is not always lonely.

Swan and reflection are beautiful! How nice to see the swans every time you go into the village - they would make my day. Thank you for stopping by earlier.

It is unusual to see a lone swan. Last autumn when we were out on the lake we saw one flying south alone, we figured it must have got lost as the other swans had probably left here for the south already.

Swans mate for life, so I hope he/she finds a mate, poor thing. Gorgeous bird.

Thanks for your visit to my blog Brookville Daily Photo this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the honey bee and the hollyhock flower.

I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.

Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?

I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good showing the lovely white swan.

No, Wil, you can never bore me with your adjectives. LOL
