Talking about swans brings me to my own country, where I saw many of them during the past few weeks. I saw them in spring, I saw them in summer, I saw them in all seasons of life and I wrote a love story about a lovesick lonely swan.
Sweet!--The family life of a swan family! When living in Switzerland, I would sit long and watch them gliding silently, amazed that they were right there in the wild. Any chance we could see the story you wrote?
These are truly beautiful birds. We have Trumpeter Swans that winter over here - fields of them and such a joy to see and hear. I too would love to read your story... :)
Dina~Yes the story I wrote really happened and I wrote it on the fifth of May. You can find it either in the archives or in the list of tags under "Remarkable Animals".

The baby swans (swanlings?) are just adorable. Lovely selection of photos.
