This morning I got up rather early, for church started at 9 o' clock. We celebrate Ascention Day by having a church service. It's a public holiday in the Netherlands, whereas we don't celebrate the International Labour Day.
We all know that today we commemorate the ascension of Jesus to heaven. Difficult to understand ? Yes! Difficult to explain too

Thanks Janice. This was taken in Australia, but it was actually a sunset. I have some more sunsets taken in the Netherlands and a few sunrises too. They inspire to music and poetry, don't they?
