This is the view I have from my livingroom at this moment. We'll
have no white Christmas, but it's freezing and many people hope to be able to skate.

I see ice. Lots of ice. Trees usually snap off limbs here when they get too much ice on them and that knocks out power and phone lines. Big problems. I hope you are not knocked out and are safe and warm.

It looks cold. Our snow is slowly melting, but they say we may get a little more this week-end. Hope it's not like last week-end. Wasn't ready for it, but it came anyway. Have a wonderful week-end yourself and stay warm.

Thank you Abe! yes I am safe and warm and I stayed at home all day. The ice you see is like lace decorating the trees and bushes and it's not heavy so it won't snap by its burden. Our phone lines are underground, the cabels are buried, because we have no rocks, like you have. Electricity cabels , however, are aboveground. Last week a power pylon was hit by a helicopter, which caused the problems I wrote about.I hope the temperature is bearable in Ohio!

Hi Patty so you have snow I hope your X-mas will be nice and beautiful.I just got a telephone call from Denmark that the last Danish friend I have is dying. His cousin rang me, which is very courageous for she doesn't speak English at all.
