World News

This morning I saw the terrible news of the attacks in Paris. It is the second time this year. I was shocked and turned on the TV. I saw then news on Dutch TV, German, French and British TV. We are all terrified. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims.

Paris police reported that at least 128 people had been killed and 180 more injured – including 80 seriously – in the six attacks, the deadliest in Europe since the 2004 Madrid railway bombings. Eight militants also died.

My thoughts go to Beirut, Paris and all the other countries suffering at the hands of war and terrorism.

Of course that is how we felt as well. Too much of this. Horrifying.
