ABC Wednesday, B for Bergambacht

Bergambacht is a typically Dutch village in the south of Holland. It starts with B, therefore I have chosen this for ABC Wednesday. In this place our choir decided to have a pancake party here! Our choir consists of 16 sopranos, 16 altos, 3 tenors and 8 basses. Once a year we have dinner together.  The restaurant was situated next to this mill. Dinner consisted of pancakes, all kind of salades, icecream and coffee. It was nice and delicious.

With thanks to Denise Nesbitt,  who created ABC, and Roger, who took over from her. For more interesting ABC posts click on the logo in the sidebar. This week we are looking for words beginning with B.

I wonder why there is always a shortage of tenors in choirs - it is just the same here Wil.
I love your photo of the windmill.

Lovely and picturesque, Wil - a great menu for dinner out and a fine choice of mates in case you had to sing for your supper!

The last time I played ABC Wednesday Denise and then Roger kept it going. Nice to be back for a season. Looks like a great spot for a meal!

That looks so great. Looking at the first picture it's tough to imagine a restaurant near it.. Looks like it's in a meadow or something. Must be very peaceful around there.

Typical Dutch, lol ! I love the Dutch pancakes, not the sweet but the salty once which are a whole meal by itself !
Are you back into the cold and rain ?

Your windmill shot is so quintessentially Dutch! I love it! You captured the town beautifully.

What a beautiful windmill. Also love your header. Seems since I have been on Facebook, I just don't get around to the blogs like I use to. Hope you've been well.

How great, 16 sopranos and 16 altos--a good balance. For our Christmas performance we gained several tenors and it was a beautiful sound.

Do you watch the Amazing Race? I love this show. Last week, they were in Holland, and one of the challenges were to make butter or race with a rabbit which has to jump over hurdles.

My Opa had a pair of clogs I used to play with when I was little. They didn't fit me or feel comfy, but they were fun.
