Sky Watch, Skating near the Windmills

This photo was taken three years ago, but this week we could have seen the same picture.Ithought it a good idea to show some of the Dutch skating fever all over the Netherland. This one is taken in Zuid-Holland,where I live near the mills.

Sky Watch is hosted by is hosted each week by the Sky Watch team of Sandy, Wren and Sylvia. And this week as every week, we remember Klaus and know that he joins us in spirit! .
Thank you so much for this great meme, it's always a pleasure to participate, and see all the other skies around the world. If you want to see other skies please click on the logo in the side bar.

Darn, we have no windmills next to our frozen rivers. And right now, no frozen rivers, either.

I love those photos and it makes me miss ice skating so much. How lucky to have so many places to skate.

I do so love how the whole of your country embraces the idea of ice skating Wil. The views of the frozen canals are spectacular too.

On this island we don't have windmills or lakes, or even frozen rivers. Lovely crisp Winter scenes.

That first pic is very interesting, to see how the sun shows the markings
on the ice! Heard it's below zero there:( Stay warm:)

This does look like so much fun, Wil. I wish I could ice skate. Believe me, I've tried. Sigh... no sense of balance.

Oh what fun! I have never donned ice skates before, but I always thought it would be a great thing. The images show people enjoying life, that is what it is all about~
