Weekend Reflections, Thought for the day,

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair...

No wonder you reflect. One never gets quite gets over both positive and negative occurrences. But the first compensates for the second.

My husband died in 1992 - it's been a long time in some respects and yesterday in others.

I am so sorry you lost your husband in 1999, Wil. Your babies are so sweet. Life is always filled with joys and with pain. I hope you are doing well and that you have a blessed Christmas.

Your babies are so beautiful, Wil and I know they still are. I am so sorry about your husband. What a painful time that had to have been. I hope memories can help to lift your spirits.

Our one year old grandson Toby celebrated Sinterklaas with his Dutch grandparents in Utrecht. We celebrate only Christmas, again in Amsterdam.
