Sky Watch, a dense fog all over the Netherlands.
On Sunday, 20th November and Monday, 21st November, we had a mist hanging over our entire country, causing a lot of problems with air traffic, and car owners had to drive twice as slowly as they were used to.
Today, 24th November, the sun is shining again! And everything looks a lot brighter in life! Have a great weekend! And for the American blogging friends: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Sky Watch is hosted by Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and Sylvia
Thank you so much for this great meme, it's always a pleasure to participate, and see all the other skies around the world. If you want to see some other skies please click on the logo in the side bar.

Hi Wil. I'm glad you have your sunshine back. Mist can be charming and mysterious, but you would not want to live in such a cloud for days.
What lovely misty shots!
Love these photos Wil! Have a great weekend!
Lovely misty images. We have a lot of mist here in Somerset at this time of year.
I particualry enjoyed the sand sculptures.
I've always loved fog. It's so mysterious and moody. I love your photos, Wil.
A very dense fog giving the whole landscape a sense of quiet mystery! Lovely series of photos!
Oh, I love your foggy, mysterious captures, Wil! It does look so much the same here in Seattle! We've had lots of traffic problems, too, with the fog and excessive rain over the past four days! Hope you have a great weekend! Take care!
Sylvia
The misty photos look so beautiful Will but I can understand for air and road traffic it would be very dangerous. Hopefull it will lift soon and you can once again enjoy clear skies.
Beautiful misty photos! Here we have the same weather...
Have a nice weekend!
Groetjes!
I find it difficult to get good pictures of fog and mist. You've done a very good job with these.
Yes foggy scenery it is in Norway to now..lovely shots, and great captured :0)
Very lovely images~
I hope you have sunshine now, so many dreary days can be a downer. We had much the same the first few days of this week. Hopefully the weekend will be nicer. Have a great day and Happy skywatching!
We often get fall fog here as well - it usually means that school buses are cancelled or delayed. Lovely photos.
Hi we don't see these scenes in the tropics, except in our highlands. I have not been to Netherlands but passed through its skies so low that I was so surprised why the clouds are so low. I just thought maybe the air pressure there is so different from ours and i wonder why!
I love foggy day but I don't like to drive on it, seems like spooky ^_^

Love the pics. Happy sky watching.

The fog gives special beauty to your photos.
I read to my husband your story from your profile - I wish all the best to you!
Greetings fro East Finland.
Mist gives lot of photo opportunities though. :)
I know fog can be problematic but I do love how it softens the world. Really nice shots.
A study in contrasts: your header photo and the foggy images in this post!
't Is die mist die mijn aandacht trok, die herken ik, haha, en je naam natuurlijk. Heel lang geleden (neen, dit is niet het begin van een sprookje) kwamen we af en toe eens bij elkaar op bezoek in hoofdzaak voor de skywatch, denk ik. Ik heb lang niet meer geblogd, maar nu ben ik terug de draad aan het opnemen. Groetjes ! Hildegarde, http://flanders-inside.skynetblogs.be
mist makes photos so intriguing!
It seems like of late we have been having dense fog every morning as I am leaving for work. And my fog is not as pretty as your fog :-) This is such a misty image. Lovely capture. Sorry to be so late visiting this week. genie
