Sky Watch,Weekend Reflections.

Posted by Picasa

I believe in the sun,
even when it is not shining.
I believe in love,
even when I do not feel it.
I believe in God,
even when he is silent.

Lines scrawled on a cellar wall in Cologne
which was destroyed by bombing in worldwar II.

Mooie woorden
en helemaal waar !!!

Ik wens U fijne kerstdagen
en een gezond en gelukkig nieuwjaar

(Ze verwachten weer heel veel sneeuw
in ons koude kikkerlandje hihi..
ik heb er eigenlijk al genoeg van
en de winter moet nog beginnen :P )
Bedankt voor U lieve woordjes
U weet precies hoe ik me voel
Fijn dat U er voor me bent,
en van de zomer kom ik eens koffie drinken oke :))))))

I love that. It is kind of bittersweet and tender.

I love your almost black and white photo of that shining sun and dark clouds.

What moving, beautiful words! One can't help but wonder about the person who wrote them on that wall and under what circumstances -- not good ones I would suspect since they were written on a wall. They tug at my heartstrings! And what a stunning capture!! Wonderful post for the day as always, Wil! Enjoy your weekend!

Perfect words for a perfect picture! I love those "hole in the clouds so the light can pour through" shots! Merry Christmas to you and thanks for stopping by IHATH!

Your header photo looks like it's been looking around here this past week. Plus it's been very cold. It did warm up today to 23 above zero, but a little smap which made the cold feel even more cold.

Very interesting shot ; I love this kind of sun light, that allows to see the sunbeams... And the reflection of the water so small add to the depth...
