The sun set seen from an island is breath taking, but difficult to capture on a photo.

Sky Watch is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy & Louise
Thank you so much for this great meme, it's always a pleasure to participate, and see all the other skies around the world. If you want to see some real skies please click on the logo in the side bar.

Oh, the sky colors are so much different from ours here. I love the almost reddish colors on them.

They look beautiful to me, can only imagine how they must look in person. Have a lovely week-end, it's just around the corner. We will be celebrating Father's Day and our oldest daughter's birthday this Sunday. Her BD was actually the June 1st. On the 4th. of July we'll be doing a cook out, and celebrating a daughter who has a BD on June 27th and one that has a BD on July 5th. That's when I'm going to announce starting next year, for their birthdays, it will be cake and ice cream. Fixing meals for a crowd is getting to be too much. I figure if I do Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, plus the 4th. of July, that should be enough. LOL, Getting lazy in my old age.

Mesmerizing, love the colors mother nature painted on her canvas. :)

Those two yellow lines are amazing.

I like you new header photo. The yellow leaf plants reminds me of home in Borneo.

Reader Wil,
Thanks so much for visiting with me at Spacial Peepol. I am very flattered that you took the time to stop by and chat!

I just wanted to clarify my post on Lady Liberty's Birthday.

October 1886 was the date of her offical 'reveal' on US soil. She arrived in many crates on Jume 15th, 1885. I have revised my post to further explain. Though she hit land here in June 1885 she was not fully erected and dedicated until October 1886. This date was then declared the 'offical' holiday to celebrate Lady Liberty's birthday.

When you look her up you will see many references to the October date, but not as many references to the June date unless you dig a bit further into her history.

Again, thanks so much for stopping by, always great to visit with you! Hope you have a great weekend.

The sun plays all sorts of tricks as it dips over the horizon. Terrific capture of the red glow and gold flash above in the second shot.

Enjoy your summer Wil with its lovely sunsets.
