The French countryside Autumn trees have beautiful colors. The castle house looks so lovely nestled on the corner of that country road.

Thanks for the road trip, Wil. Now I can say I saw Autumn in France :D

Beautiful! My friend in Nice, France says their trees don't turn colors. You are lucky!

Those pictures had both flame and colours. A real adventure to see them.

Love all the colors but am intrigued by that imposing wall. That would guarantee privacy.

This must have been one of the most colourful autumns ever, reader wil - those young red trees are like beacons - beautiful.

Ah, er is geen meer typhoon en dat is goed for alles. Bedankt voor om uw concern. De bloemen zijn voor mijn moeder (dedicated), zij is nu acht jaar geleden en zij houd veel van bloemen.

This is the best time of year for me, with the colours of the season and cooler weather.

The series of photos are wonderful, Wil. You've captured the essence perfectly.

LOVELY! Those reds are fiery!
I really love the poem - very appropiate for your images.
All our color is gone. I'm staring at bare or brown leaved trees as I type this.

Friendship is the most beautiful relationship on earth. Share this wonderful relationship with the most beautiful object on earth the flowers. Flower is the symbol of joy, love, happiness, and passion. Every flower has its own image and importance and its own emotion symbol.

Hi Wil,

Love Robert Louis Stevenson's poetry. I used to read a lot of them to my kids when they were young.

Beautiful colors in France! Weren't you lucky to be there and to take some pictures for us.

We always have beautiful colors in the Ozarks as well, but they are on their way out now, from all the rain we had for 2 days. I hate to see them go.

Happy Autumn!

Hugs,

Renie

It has been a long time since I visited your blog. Still feeling lethargic but I passed by yours in someone's comment box, so I thought I would pop in to say hello to you. Hope you are doing good. We're nearing our Summer. Love the autumn colours of Europe.

You have posted wonderful picture of fall on your blog. I admire those lenses you are having. They are so vivid and charming. Love the poem by Robert Louis Stevenson! Enjoyed it very much.

"fires in the Fall" - well that is literally true in California - unfortunately it is not the leaves of the trees I'm referring to. Most fires burn here in the Fall. The second pic is so beautiful!
