During our holiday in New Zealand we visited the Milford Sound, and this Mirror Lake. The upside down sign should reflect the name MIRROR LAKES! But it doesn't show the reflection very well, does it?! Therefore I show you another part of the Milford Sound which gives a better result.

There are a few Mirror Lakes in NZ - the best I recall was one near Fox Glacier.

I enlarged the first one to see the sign and the letters on it are written backwards to reflect correctly in the lake. . . but alas, no such reflection as you said. . . I wonder if it had to be a certain time of day to get the words reflected in the lake?

Beautiful picture I was able to make a good reflection photo of the sign. Probably depends on the time of the day as well. We had the same thing at Lake Matheson which should reflect the mountains but not as we came
