This couch hammock is very special to me, for it was my mother's day's present in 2006. I got it from my Dutch daughter. Of course it was a great big surprise and it's very nice to sit here on a sunny day doing a sudoku puzzle, having my ten o'clock coffee and enjoy the sounds of the birds in and around the garden.

What a pleasant blog. And I like your garden area. What a great place to rest, meditate, read or just enjoy friends and family. It sounds as though you enjoy it. Thanks for visiting Monastery Daily Photo. God bless you - FA

Hi Wil,

What a great gift from your daughter. Looks so comfy and cozy surrounded by your beautiful flowers. Perfect place for enjoying ones coffee and the singing of the birds.

Hugs,

Oh yes! A super rocker/glider bench and special because it was a personal one!!!!!! Your daughter could not have chosen a better gift!

I know you stopped by but I didn't have my Friday bench up then -- it is really unusual so I hope you
will return for a glimpse of it also. My friend, Kathy, sent me the photos.

Now, that is just the kind of bench I would have liked to have - only, I may not have been able to use it very often for meteorological reasons... :-)

PS Thank you for the comment! I haven't decided yet quite what I'm going to do about benches and Fridays and so forth, but we'll see... :-)

Oh, this is very cozy Wil. I also posted something like this weeks ago. I just didn't post a bench this week, we are still saddened with what's happening here and so with other countries. And now there's another typhoon coming over. We do hope it is not as disastrous as the previous one.

A lovely spot to sit a spell to read, have a cup of tea or just relax and enjoy the garden.
