Camera Critters Friesland
To enlarge please click on photos!
Apart from the rooster of my friends there were the many cows we saw . Even on our cycle tour we had to cycle behind a herd of cows, which were taken to other fields. We also saw a herd of Dutch Land Goats which had almost become extinct, had it not been for a group of biologists who succeeded to breed them back.
This group of Canadian geese in the distance, and a cormorant were worth seeing as well.

Camera Critters is hosted by Misty Dawn. Thank you so much Misty Dawn.We all enjoy seeing and talking about animals. All creatures great and small give us much pleasure. If you want to see more Camera Critters click on the logo in the side bar.

Wow, look at the hair on those goats!
Great collection of animals you posted today, Wil.
Delightful pictures of your countryside.
Love the photo of the rooster. He looks so proud. Have a great week-end.
You have several of my favorite critters today. Roosters, cows and goats.
De kip en de koe
zijn mijn favoriet :)
Echte Hollandse foto's !!!!
Is het bij U ook zo warm,
ik hoop dat U de hitte goed kunt verdragen.
Fijne avond :)
A very handsome rooster. The Friesland cows look like the breed that over here is the US is called Holstein and is popular with large commercial dairies.
Marvelous set of of "critters", Wil!
Love the rooster! He does indeed look proud!
Enjoy your weekend!
Sylvia
Your photos left me feeling refreshed and peaceful. What a beautiful bit of countryside!
Wonderful assortment of critters. I love when someone brings back one of the almost extinct animals -- we need more of the *heirloom* varieties. (One of my soapboxes!)
I am so cheered up when I see your header..and what scenes today plenty of animals
Des photos très rurales !
Le coq a fière allure !
Wonderful farm photos. Makes me feel like singing about "Old McDonald"'s farm!
Funny to see the cows on the bike path.
In hubby's youth, his parents used to keep a goat - I've got to ask him which kind. The cows are leaner than I remembered:)
Wonderful array of 'critters' here. My favorite is the rooster, but I love the goats and geese too.
Hugs and blessings,
Oh, look at that handsome rooster, and all the rest of the adorable farm animals. Love them, Wil. I'll have to try and join Camera Critters one day. It would be fun.
Happy weekend!
Huggies.

I see you love animals as well !
I live in the Netherlands for 6 years now. I started a blog to proclaim my love for the animals.
I write it in my own language at the moment, but I'll install a translator in the next days.
I live in Noord-Brabant and I hope we can de virtual friends.
You have wonderful pictures of cats here beside !!
Cheers,
Susana
The snaps of country side are wonderful.
I have a soft spot for roosters and he is a handsome fellow!!
Is that where our naughty geese go! The goats are quite unique!
Adorable critters!
We have been away on a mini-trip and I am catching up reading your posts. These Dutch Goats are very beautiful – do they make goat cheese from their milk? Goat cheese is a favorite of mine but I have not heard of Dutch goat cheese.
Great array of 'critters' Wil - the rooster looks like he is posing for you LOL
LOVE that Rooster!! He's a beauty!
The rooster is great, and so are the geese!
