that's My Holiday World in France, Chenonceau

The castle of Chenonceau, which is built across the river Cher, was originally a fortified manor.Since 1243 it belonged to the Marques family from Auvergne. In 1512 it was sold. The new owner had the castle renewed in early renaissance style.For more information here

I was there in 1997 and remember a lot about the gardens, in which we walked a LOT. But I don't recall the inside so much. I'd love to go back and see it again, though! Gorgeous travelogue for us. Thanks. :D

When I visited France I went to as many castles as I could fit into the timeframe. A beautiful experience to walk where others have in centuries gone by.
