Thank you so much for this great meme, it's always a pleasure to participate, and see all the other skies around the world. If you want to see some real skies please click on the logo in the side bar.
Oh, what fantastic captures, Wil! I love the castles in France and your marvelous photos brought back such happy memories! Thanks for a wonderful tour!!
Oh, my, Wil, they're beaautiful! Like out of some Fairy Tales! I haven't been to France, but I loved the castle in Salzburg, Austria, up on a big hill, overlooking the city.
These castles are impressive! I would love to go inside and wander through. I love the photo with the reflection. You have captured beautiful skies also.
Very beautiful French castles for your skywatch Wil! Just think of the window tax the owners had to pay, it would have bankrupted quite a few except of course the owners of the second last shot.
Your beautiful post has just reminded what a young country Australia is - we just don't have anything as wonderful & historic as these beauties! Thank you for stopping by over @ The Laurel Hedge, glad Abe sent you. The Man-of-the-House & our 5 sons provide me with plenty of posting material, & it's always nice to be able to give visitors a good laugh, even if it is very unintentional on my part! Millie ^_^

We visited most of these back in '69 and I will always remember the romantic beauty of Chenonceau.

Wonderful, these castles. Quite romantic.
Beautiful castles. Makes you envy castle dwellers as long as there is enough help to clean them.
I visited Cheverny last year. That's a beautiful part of France, I hope you had wonderful holidays. Happy weekend!
French skies over French castles. Oh I would be in heaven. No finer country to me and the reflected sky is glorious.
We don't have many castles here, so thank you for sharing these with us!
on the other hand - "My home is my castle" :-)
What lovely photos. You had an interesting trip. Haven't been around much the past few days, been too busy helping Abe repair the shed.

Love the Chaumont, very castle like...though all are lovely castles.
