Absolutely lovely shots of NZ, loved every one and recognised most.
oh what a great shots Wil. I went to Wanaka and Milford last summer to show my brother. You were lucky you had such a clear day It rains there 300 days a year. Nice to see you had a Maori Powhiri Their culture is quite interesting and it is good that NZ is now bicultural. It must also be beautiful to see Franz Josef
glacier from the air Thanks for sharing

What a great vacation with the family, and such wonderful memories. The photos are lovely, I enjoyed the tour of New Zealand.
Lovely photos and great memories for you and your family.
Beautiful pictures, Wil, especially that magical last shot. I have been intrigued by New Zealand ever since reading Elizabeth Goudge's GREEN DOLPHIN STREET but have never been there.
I would still like to visit New Zealand reader wil - it looks such a beautiful country.
Oh, my, what fabulous shots of a most beautiful country, New Zealand. You are so fortunate to be able to travel to such beautiful places, Wil. And we are fortunate you share your pictures with us.
Have a great day!
Renie
Great photos!
We had storms at Milford Sound so didn't see much of that at all - otherwise though we had great weather in 2001 - flew over the glacier but didn't land - stayed in Wanaka but didn't visit puzzle world alas - saw so much though that we've no regrets about the things we didn't see - especially when other bloggers show them for us.
A great place. Closer here.
Great shots!
Regina
Great photos, I bet you had a wonderful time with the daughter and grandkids.
Welcome back, the last time you posted, you said you had a few busy days coming up. Hope all went ok for you and you got everything accomplished that you wanted to during your busy days time.
Those photos are beautiful Wil! I have always wondered what New Zealand looked like.
What a wonderful place. You make me want to travel all over the world. And I feel like I do travel every time I come to your blog : )
Beautiful photos. Now I have to add another place to visit when I win the lottery...
Beautiful shots of a beautiful place. One of my favorite bloggers Peter's Pottery http://opopots.blogspot.com/
is from New Zealnad.
Thanks to you both for allowing me glimpses such a lovely place.
Hoi Wil, lang niet gehoord! Ik ben heel blij om nog u te zien...Ik houd van de puzzle world!
What a beautiful sequence. In the first one, the snow in the rocks seems to continue the line of the river, as if the foreground were a reflection somehow of the background. These had me mesmerized.
New Zealand gets a mention on my blog too! But I don't have any actual photos up. Yours are stunningly beautiful, just like the country itself.
I love the glacier photos - and the Maori welcome!
Wonderful shots of an awesome land. And the best, of course, is you and the grandkids. :)
What an excellent choice. Always looks such a clean country.
so many gorgeous and interesting images.
Love the puzzle houses. The photos are beautiful of the scenery. I'd like to visit but I want to live somewhere warmer.
P.S. Was wondering what kind of puppy that is on the top of your blog? I wasn't sure if it was a shi-tuz (spelling?) or another breed. I've been trying to do some research, especially opinions from owners on different breeds. I really want to pick out one that's best for me and good with children.
What a delightful virtual tour of a place I'll probably never see in person! Thanks so much for sharing and for dropping by my Camera Critters mosaic at Small Reflections. In response to your query ... only Molly (the Labrador Retriever) is mine. The two Corgi visitors (Roscoe and Penny) belong to new neighbors.
Hugs and blessings,
You have some fantastic captures of absolutely stunning scenery in this post. Love it!
