Ha! Mooie bloomen Wil. I've never seen such tulip like these, so far the tulips I've seen are those at the Keukenhof, though my favorite patient said to me that there are a lot of types of tulips. Groetjes!

Not yet, it was just set to exclusive. Maybe we should try a little later.

les photos dues tulipes sont très belles et le passage du temps est très intéressant.

Interesting contrast, Wil. I'm surprised at how good the old ones still look. Even one-week-old tulips at my house would have shattered and fallen apart. Those had a lovely, lovely colour when fresh.

Those are so pretty! Great shots.
:-) Love the little cutie in your header too.

Funny how the colour dissapears that much. They started out very lovely. Such a strong red and yellow. Nice to see the contrast though.

Lovely tulips! Suprising how long they lasted. The frilly edges are really neat.

Ah, aren't they just lovely! And still pretty after some time. My tulips aren't blooming yet, but soon. However some of my early irirses are blooming. Spring is just such a delightful time of the year, isn't it Wil?

Hugs,

Renie

There is beauty even in decay! But I love the way you show the "then" and "now" photos so we can compare!
And the cutie in the header, of course!

Oh dear. They are such pretty flowers. I wish they lasted longer!

Double Tulips! Tulips and Roses often look even prettier when they come to the end of their life, as do old people. the essence of character shows through, the Rose develops a heightened scent, the Tulip silkier petals and people one hopes, wisdom.

I have never seen such tulips. They are truly wonderful and I'm not a fan of tulips.

I had a read at your sparrow post and it made me smile how they sat there waiting. By our local pub we have a blackbird that does exactly the same, the cheeky bird

Hello, Reader Wil,

Those tulips are just lovely, and I can't wait now until mine bloom. But I will have to wait another 2 or 3 weeks.

Dat vind ik nou een nadeel van tulpen.
in het begin zijn ze zo mooi en na een paar dagen is er niets meer van over .
Jammer he ;)
Koopt U toch een nieuwe bos tulpen :))))
Fijne avond, tot ziens

I'm unable to grow tulips where I live because it doesn't get cold enough.
