That's My World, Solar Panels
Third photo is production meter, The fourth photo shows the converter.
Sinds April Fools' Day I've got solar panels. Three panels on my roof are at work at this very moment. The sun has been shining all day. On the top floor a converter was installed, which is only suitable for the feed back of solar power to my electricity provider, and on the groundfloor it needed a production electricity meter.I get paid for the delivery of electricity! I am satisfied!! But I am no technician so if you ask technical questions I have to consult my daughters before answering.

a great idea...something i have thought about doing here in virginia. thanks for sharing with us and have a good evening.
You are doing just the right thing. However, I have a feeling that it would not be quite so effective around her... ;-)
PS Thank you for all the nice comments!
Des photos très techniques pour un projet écologique !
Merci, Reader Will, il y en aura d'autres .
Je vais essayer de vous traduire mon poème sur les parachutes : il est difficile parce qu'il contient un jeu sur les mots et des allusions.
Reader wil - I am glad to see you are doing your bit for global warming. I believe solar panels are very efficient.
They look good! And just in time for the sun :-)
Hope they work for you. We tried them but it didn't work around here. We would have days without sun, and it was also very cold in this area.
Excellent choice to start using solar panels. Like it a lot :-)
Happy Easter
That is great, Wil. We have been thinking several times about solar heat. This gave me an idea, but have to ask hubby, if it can also be convereted to cool air (because we still don't have central air conditioning). Have a great week.
I just think it's wonderful that you have it! It's such a great idea and one I wish more of us could have. Great post! Thanks for sharing!
Solar panels are the future, my brother in Port Germein already sell more power back to the electricity company than he uses himself. Congratulations!
That's great that you got solar panels. I like your roof too. Very appealing to me.
Wonderful idea, thanks for showing us about it.
I too have solar panels now I check several times a day to see how much we are producing.
Way to do your part for the environment, that is next on my list. Great entry this week.
Have a great week!

I thought I'd pop back to answer your questions. The Wind Machine is just for art although it does look like it could be used for something functional.
That is wonderful! We have a skylight but it is not the same at all.
That must be very satisfying to create your own electricity. It's a great "green" thing to do. Love your title photo with the adorable dog.
I think that's such a great idea. I don't understand why they don't insist that all new housing has some kind of solar panels.
Good for you. I admire your ingenuity and the fact that you got it done. Cool.
Oh very nice with the solar panels. Our apartments are now installing all these solar panels so that they can lit the corridor lights. Save a lot of $$$ and energy. Your header photo is so cute.
You are doing just the right thing. However I have a feeling that it would not be quite so effective around her... Thanks for sharing.
Keep posting.........
Good for you, you will become a major industrialist yet!
I love the face in your header photo! Solar panels are a great idea but my neighbors panels were blown off her roof in a hurricane.
I'd love to use solar panels here too but we don't get enough sun during the winter months as this is a rain forest area.
oohhh...ik heb geen idee hoe deze moet werk. I can't imagine it yet. :( But I like the idea.
The world of tomorrow!
Aoha-
Je komt deze zonnepanelen steeds meer en meer tegen he, is natuurlijk een hele goede zaak voor het milieu. En nu maar hopen op zonneschijn he.
Groetjes
Such eco friendly equipments will help counter the global warming.
We would all be better off doing this. We did some of these things back in the early 1970s when our government paid us a percentage of costs. But solar collectors in those days consisted of large, containers with cardboard liners, painted black, to absorb the heat that came through the plastic tops. And then it would get so hot inside that it made a fan come on inside the house and sucks the hot air into the house and sent cold air in the house back into the solar collectors. A loud, noisy system that we eventually took out. It was one of the early solar heaters.
An eco friendly world..a great idea i must say..
Hmmm... not a bad idea. But I don't have nearly enough trust in the local power utility for such a scheme.
First of all how adorable is Misty!
I have told my husband we need these living where we do, but they're very expensice to install here. Great idea.
I think using natural energy is absolutely the way to go.
Well done with your panels.
Who is that lovely character in your header?
A beautiful pup.
Not something we have much of here, but should. Interesting way to show another part of your world, which always offers a new twist on the norm.
Good for you for doing the right thing. Sending your warm sunny wishes for your panels.
Very good idea to put up solar panels. Not sure how they'd do here in Michigan. We're usually in the top 5 for the most cloudy days in the US. I've thought about it. It would be so cool to get paid for giving them electricity instead of the other way around!
Way to go! Excellent thing to do!
Cheers, Klaus
I think I'd like some solar panels. We have sun 310 days a year here, and my house is freezing in the winter (and half the summer). Very nice!
Big help for saving...Should I have a house I'll have those, too bad we only got an apartment :D
Its so nice that you are doing this. Keep it up!
Good for you to be energy efficient, Wil.
