What lovely flowers. Today it is a chilly 39, rainy and windy. Might get a few snow flurries later this evening. The kind of day for reading and napping.
Ah, Spring! Yours is always a most worthwhile and companionable blog, Wil.
Thanks for your kind comments at my comfort spiral. I put all my good photos into blogger posts 3 at a time, then use these each with a post on a given day. If my post has pictures that are specific to it, I construct the whole post - words & photos from scratch. The quotes are prizes from my reading - or found on line to complement the days topic. Aloha, my Dear!!
You have done quite a job on this one! So lovely to watch all those wonderful flowers popping up - and with your promising words of a spring that will come! Well done!
Your spring seems well advanced with all the tulips and snowdrops in full flower. A lovely slide show with a look into the hearts of the flowers as well.
What a huge amount of gorgeous spring flowers you already have around you and even the birds are nearly nesting. I kept looking at your wonderful slide show and getting greener and greener in my face thinking about the drab picture outside my home and how very long it would still be to see images like this in reality. You have really worked with this display.
That was beautiful! Holland really knows how to do spring right, doesn't it? ;) I thought the snowdrop was especially striking with the green inside - I don't think I've ever seen one before.

Welcome to this blog.
Welcome! Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment! I'll answer any comment you write. I am female, retired as a teacher. I was born in Rotterdam in 1933, raised in Indonesia on the Isle of Java. During the war I was a prisoner of a Japanese concentration camp. After the war my parents, sisters and I returned to the Netherlands. I became a teacher, married, got three children and four grandchildren. One daughter lives in Australia, where I regularly visit her. Unfortunately my husband died in November 1999. He had not seen the youngest grandchild.

Awards giving and passing on...
It's always very nice if some one finds you worthy enough to give an award. Could you please read my post about awards? It is on Tuesday, 21 July 2009ABC Wednesday A for awards.
I collected all awards in a slide and explained that I am grateful for awards, and I like to thank the bloggers who gave them, but I am not going to show them or pass them on. It's too much work.
