Today's Flowers are for Patty and Abe Lincoln!

To enlarge: click on" view all images" and then "on original view".

This is a tribute to my two oldest blogging friends, who helped me to get on blogging, who were always reading and visiting my blog and made me happy with funny stories( Patty) or interesting stories about history and religion and oh so many other subjects by Abe. Thanks for all your support and understanding! Many happy returns on your birthdays! Have a great weekend Patty and Abe!

Today’s Flowers is hosted by Luiz Santilli Jr. Thank you, Luiz!

I too read patty and abe's blogs - I just love abe's bird photographs and patty's humour. I shall visit them now to wish them happy birthday.

Abe, you deserve it! There were times that I wanted to give up blogging, but you and Patty were always there with a positive comment, beautiful stories, funny stories and also sharing sad things, so... BTW I deleted my blogs at efx2 for yesterday I went back to have a look since 6 weeks and noticed that I had 73 comments, all of them spam. This blog is much safer and nicer and easier. I hope you have a great day tomorrow.

Wil: A beautiful tribute to two great people.

Thank you so much Wil. That was very sweet of you. Yes, I believe we got acquainted from Modblog or efx, can't remember, but we found you were in our age bracket and that seemed to make us feel better. We thought we were the only ones out there at our age. LOL But I'm finding more and more all the time. Hope you're having a great Sunday. Again, thank you.

Hi Patty! It was February 2006 that I sarted on efx2 as "Oma".We were then the oldest people of efx2. Then something went wrong and I started with a new blog as "Reader". Then efx2 went down and you advised me to start blogging here and save all my entries. You were the one who created my shoutbox. Then efx2blogs came and went well for a time. It came and went off and on, but here everything went better and better and there are more people of our age. I am glad to have known you two!

I too enjoy Abe and Patty's blogs. I started to read Abe's first and then one day I came across Patty's and have been reading them both every since. I wish them many more years together and many years of entertaining all of us.

A very nice tribute to two wonderful folks, Wil. Both of them give great pleasure to a lot of readers.

P.S. I'm in that age group, too. In fact, I'm older than Abe, by almost two months! LOL There's life in us yet!

I just realized you were from the Netherlands. We went there on a bicycling tour last year and loved your beautiful country and beautiful people. You have a very wonderful blog.
