Hildegarde got it! Actually it was not really dark, but the photo turned out a bit darker than this and much lighter than the first one. Still it was strange those little light points in a line.

Antigoni, when a cat enters your bedroom at night it's also pretty scary, if you see its eyes, but as soon as you hear it miaowing and purring it is ok.

How funny, I also made a photo once showing sheep in the growing darkness, and they had the same funny glowing eyes like your vaches!
