After a long flight from Amsterdam to Australia, we had a stopover in Hong Kong. These are the surroundings of our hotel where we had booked dayrooms. While my grandson was sleeping and his father stayed with him, my daughter and I went to see the neighbourhood.See also my slide on my previous post.

Hong Kong is a great choice for H. It's nice to see some neighborhood shots instead of all the big city shots...

These photos capture very nicely the character of densely populated Hong Kong. They recall our visit there.

I only have one "H" for my post today. I hope you like it. I put it on Canon Pixels

It is a very unfamiliar view of Hong Kong. Interesting to see it's not all skyscrapers and bright lights!

Great idea to get a day room and have a chance to see the sights too. Wonderful choice for the letter H.

slick pictures. :) and i do like that these shots are real, as opposed to the more glamorous tourism oriented shots.

Hi, friend
Hong Kong reminds me of many places here in Brazil, but here we have legislation for construction, many of the people and build defying the wrong way and inadequate, generating a large cities chaos.

How interesting to come across your blog with its lovely photographs - I came by a roundabout route but shall keep coming back. Interested also as my first husband (d.1993) was also a prisoner of the Japanese. Nice to meet you.
