X X X for railway crossings

One of the many railway crossings
  My sister and brother-in-law.
Wacht tot het rode licht gedoofd is= Wait till the red light has been turned off.

Do you see the X X ? They indicate that here is a railway crossing. This is a typical station of a small town or village with only two platforms. The larger stations have about twenty platforms, a restaurant, shops and all kind of facilities.

X- words are not so easy to find, let alone to picture. Anyway this my entry for this week!

Look at http://mrsnesbittsplace.blogspot.com/ for other great posts.

This is so funny! I have taken a photograph of the very same train! LOL! I recognised it straight away! You can see the reflection in the window of one of my photographs!

Lots of X !!!j'adore : on a vraiment l'impression d'attendre le passage du train ...
le "x" est plutôt rare dans le vocabulaire, sauf dans les mots savants d'origine grecque, mais courant dans la vie quotidienne!
