Sky Watch

Sunrise a promise. This morning I went to a funeral service of a dear lady, whose life had been loving, caring and full of compassion for all who lived with her. Between sunrise and sunset we live our lives...

After longing and waiting in the long and painful night.
It comes at last Light of our Light
Birth of a new day
Like a new life on its unknown way
till the light is fading and dies and goes down
and returns to the eternal stars.

Once upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …

I am one of those proud sky watchers and I really enjoy each and every one of the photos you show us. I really think you are a first class sky watcher!

Your second image is astoundingly beautiful. The clouds scratched across the sky I have need seen before like that. Well captured.

I too am sorry for your loss. You have paid a heart-felt tribute to your friend. Would that we all had friends this sincere to bid us farewell.

It is early for me to be saying this, but words fail me on these. They are absolutely beautiful, gorgeous sky watch photos and that does not do them justice.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

What a moving tribute to your friend and the symbolism of your photos is perfect. The one that moved me most, is the one with the sky trails crisscrossing the sky. It reminded me of the different paths we can take in our lives and also of how the paths of others impact on us.
