Beautiful, beautiful Sky Watch photos! Thanks for making the trip to the attic.
I greatly admire the photograph of the windmills you have in your blog header. Most attractive! It creates in me a strong desire to visit the Netherlands.
And I've just proved either that I can't count, or that my fingers take over from my brain! I'm sorry, I meant to compliment you on all FOUR of the photos!
Pretty one for SWF! Which reminds me the quote... "we all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon".... Mine's up too hope you can drop by. Happy Weekend!
Thanks for your visit to my blog, Wil. The Big Dam Bridge bed is fourteen (14) feet wide, and I'm sure that riding a bicycle across would be most safe up there. Think of the view! I'm planning to walk across in the fall. I'll let you know how the experience goes. (I'll be 74 years old in September.)

Sunsets are difficult to photograph but you have done pretty well. Position the horizon lower than centre and try Shooting at a variety of exposures - if you let your camera decide what shutter length to shoot at you’re likely to get a shot that doesn’t really capture the beauty of the light. Quite often the shot will be under exposed because the sky is still reasonably light.
Instead of relying upon the camera’s auto mode a sunset is an ideal time to switch your camera into aperture or shutter priority mode and to take a variety of shots at different exposures.
The great thing about sunsets and sunrises is that there is no one ‘right’ exposure and that you can get stunning results using a variety of them. Also keep in mind that different exposures (aperture and shutter speeds) will produce a variety of different results so it’s worth taking more than just a few shots - the key is to experiment.
I tend to switch into shutter priority mode and start with a relatively quick shutter speed and then slowly work down to slower ones. Good luck and best wishes Kev
Your pictures are beautiful. What is the tower in the distance in the first picture? This is my first visit to your blog. I found your link on Abe Lincoln's comments.

Yours is a great series of images showing the progression of sunset to nightfall-just fascinating.
