The day before yesterday we celebrated the coming of the Holy Spirit, The true Spirit of God. The Spirit Jesus already showed to his disciples : the Spirit of love, understanding, respect, forgiveness. The Spirit that knows no hatred to those who don't believe. and no revenge to those who hurt and despise us. That is the Spirit that belongs to God and to Jesus. That is what we call the Holy Trinity. Three different ways of God to show Himself to this world.

I agree with you. If we all show respect, love and understanding and stop hatred, we would'nt kill in the name of God.
I think the post below, Why God made Mums was very good and simple enough. Kids say the darndest things.
I also agree with Janice and you, but the people in this world are, for the most part, greedy and would sell their mother for money and some do. War is the result of wanting what you don't have but trying to steal it from the other guy as in Japan and WWII. Amazing. Now look at them. Such a prosperous country.

You're right Abe! Most people are greedy and very selfish. Actually we should pity them. They are never happy. I had once such "friends". They told me :'We never give tips in restaurants and never to collections, we don't go in for charity." They were never satisfied and very unhappy.
Yes Dina, I hardly get any comments when I refer to Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, and other Christian holidays. These holidays excist because a Jewish rabbi was brave enough to show the loving face of God. We owe it to the Jewish religi.on that we are so fortunate to know the God of Israel. I think it my duty to tell about it. I am glad you write about these celebrations. You are brave too!
