Award Rules

1) Award and Link to 5 blogs that make you think and/or make your day.
2) Acknowledge the post of the award giver: oldladylincoln
3) Tell the award winners that they have won by commenting on their blogs with the news!

Now the part I find hard.. I could give this to many. All the blogs I visit make my day or I would not keep going back for more, but I'm told I can only pick 5.

1. Oldmanlincoln. He takes the most beautiful photos and shows a lot of love and patience for wildlife. He tells very interesting facts of the past and knows a lot about almost everything.

2.Janice thomson. her blog is a true feast for every body who visits her. She is a talented painter and poet.

3.Dina writes very interesting stories about Israel and gives us information that highlights daily life in Jerusalem, something we don't find in the newspaper or on TV. She makes you want going there.

4.Pernille's ting og tang is Norwegian and that's enough for me! But she took photos of sunsets which are magnificent and breathtaking. ( not difficult in a country like hers!!)

5 Kostas showed us th life of his bees and photos of Greece.

There of course more people whom I could mention, may be another time!

Wow, an award! In the name of Jerusalem, a place which overflows with blog fodder and makes you want to share her, I humbly accept. Being recognized by a blog as fine as yours, Reader Wil, is an honor indeed. Thank you!

Dina~of course you deserve an award! You teach me every time I visit your blog something new about Israel. Like I said before: "what news we hear about Israel is by means of the newspaper or TV, and that's only about suicide bombing and other stuff which is not cheerful". Here you are to show the Holy Land in another light. Thank you for that.

Pernille~Your blog is fascinating and your photos are so wonderful and it's so nice to see Scandinavians on Blogspot. I always loved Norway and Danmark. So did my husband. We also have a cousin who lives in Norway. Her two boys still speak Dutch, but are both married to Scandinavian wives. They have lived in Norway for about 40 years now. Norway has my heart.

Hi Reader Wil....

So happy you dropped by my blog for a visit. You seem like such a facinating person...would love to sit and chat with you about your times here in Indonesia....have you ever come back for a visit?? You have a place to stay if you ever decide to come back...

Cheers,

Scotty

Well Scotty, that's very kind of you. No, I have never been back apart from a stay of a few hours on Bali when my husband and I were on our way to Australia. I came in Indonesia when I was a baby in 1934 and stayed there until I was almost 12 in 1945. Then we had to leave Java and went to Singapore for a short stay. We returned to Holland in January 1946.
