While we were walking in Bathmen we passed a field with a lot of chickens, free range hens, which is great because for years we have campaigned against hens being confined in battery cages. And lo and behold there they are: Free Range Chickens and as it says on the notice board:"For Sale Free Range Eggs".

I don't know what you are paying for eggs where you live, but the price has really gone up here. Use to be able to get a dozen of med. size eggs for 99 cents or less, then it jumped to $1.49 and last week, they are now $1.79 for a dozen. Thank goodness we don't use many eggs, but of course it seems like that's when you do get hungry for them, when the price gets HIGH. LOL.
I am sorry to say but I don't know how much eggs are. I just grab them and pay for them with the rest of the shopping.
