Music makes the world turn round,,,

My grandchildren get music lessons and they love it. The eldest child is having gitar lessons, the second child is taught to play the violin and the youngest just tries to copy his sister, but who knows what he will choose...Anyway they can also sing very well, so we live in a house full of music!

That's wonderful Wil!
My boys were brought up with music. Both boys play several types of guitars, piano, violin, clarinet, and drums. Music is a very big part of their lives.

Me, haha, I can't play a thing.

I too love music, but I am more a music consumer than a music maker. I listen to all kind of folkmusic but mainly classical music, while I am at work. Are you used to the blogspot already? I am not. I miss the shout box, the smilies, the PM's and a lot of other things.

Very nice photos Wil. I bet you are having a ball about now.

I really miss the PM's and the smilies Wil. You can put a shoutbox on your site, it's fairly simple but takes time. If you go to my site and click on the bottom of the shoutbox, it will take you to the site to make it.

The new efx is beginning, I went over there, signed up, designed my page somewhat, and now when I tried to go back, it says my user name doesn't exist. I give up!!

Hi Abe yes we are having a good time! You were right about the swollen ankles, and the jetlag was taking a long time this trip, for I had'nt slept for 48 hours this time.

I shall try to go to your site and try to find out how to create a shoutbox. How annoying that EFx2 does'nt remember your name anymore. Does it mean that all our posts are lost?

Oh Wil, how fortunate your family is, to be musically inclined! I, too, am merely a consumer, but have sometimes been complimented on my singing.

You must be thrilled to be spending time with the grandchildren & I am sure they are equally excited to have you around. <3

I was a music major in college. Over the years I've played the piano, trumpet, French horn, flute, and oboe. Right now, I own a flute and an oboe.

Well anyway Kimmi music is important in our lives, isn't it?! I sing in a choir which I enjoy very much, not alone for the singing also the company.

I think that you must be very clever to play all those instruments. Do you play in an orchestra or mainly solo? Do you play for an audience? I love the oboe and flute. I played the alto and soprano recorders. I own a didgeridoo but that is awfully difficult to play, what with the circular breathing.
