The eyes of my grandchildren are the most beautiful jewels in the world!

Look Through Children's Eyes
Artist(Band):Kim Carnes

I'm breaking in pieces and my soul is caving in
There's a hole in the sky and we can't fill it in
There's a place in our hearts full of love for all men
Just have to find it again

Look through children's eyes try to tell them why
There's oil across the water and holes across the sky
Look through children's eyes, hear the ocean cry
Hear the forest fall in ashes from the sky

Honey you've not known enough to think it all
But here in your lifetime this is off the wall
We can save tomorrow for the children left behind
Let us all save the earth together

Look through children's eyes try to tell them why
There's oil across the water and holes across the sky
Look through children's eyes, hear the ocean cry
Hear the forest fall in ashes from the sky
Look through children's eyes

We glorify greed without counting the cost
One's man's happy ending is everyman's loss
How long since we noticed how long has it been
And the innocent child is crying again

Look through children's eyes try to tell them why
There's oil across the water and holes across the sky
Look through children's eyes, hear the ocean cry
Hear the forest fall in ashes from the sky
If we look through chilren's eyes
Look through children's eyes
We can save the earth together
If we look through children's eyes.

Touching post! My husband and I were just yesterday wondering of the world our grandchildren will have, when they are our ages!

something about eyes, it is rugby world cup, and my Tonga student said this King authorised this new sports, flipping eye lids. Indeed he could flip both eye lids for a long time. I remember when I was a child, I couldn't do it.

Then a Tanzanian student showed how she kept her eye balls to the nose end of her eyes.

Yes, that's also a world ! unfortunately I see my grandson only all 6 weeks or not even, as he is only 9 months old they change so much at that age.

At first those eyes were so sweet and innocent and then after reading the lyrics to the song, I realized that no one is innocent anymore. We must remember those words or our world will be gone in the blink of an EYE! Thanks for sharing this, Wil...

Beautiful post, Wil, and I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Klaus. Your grandchildren have lovely eyes, as do most children. So fresh and innocent.

I agree, the most beautiful eyes in the world, are those of your grandchildren.

We have eleven sets of beautiful eyes. Nine are dark brown, Two are Blue...all special.

I am sorry to hear of Klaus's passing. Although I did not do those memes, I do know of them and the tremendous following that it has.

Your grandchildren are certainly exquisite and beautiful.

I like the Native American saying:

• Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.

I wish everybody would remember that.
